The 5100 range of
Silent Gliss Track has been superseded by the 5400
range, we will be updating our web pages shortly,
however the general spec of the 5400 range is similar to
that of the 5100.
With a non-stretch belt drive this
electronic curtain track from Silent Gliss is suitable
for medium to heavy curtain weights. Ceiling, face
fixings and extension brackets, there are also recess
options are available for this track.
The two motor variants are the basic which is operated
by fixed switch only and the intelligent motor for all
remote control applications including multiple stops.
This track can be bent and is therefore suitable for bay
windows. Other applications include home cinema systems.
Track lengths of up to 10 metres
which can be bent either to a specific angle or a swept
curve. The bending radius for a standard curve is 250mm.

Motor
Options
Depending on your
requirements there are three distinct motor options.
The main differences between the
three so far as function is concerned is that the
Intelligent Motor
option is suitable for integration with a computer
control, the
Electronic Motor
can be integrated with the 0900 timer and the
Basic Motor
is suitable for a single switch operation which can be
stopped at any position and also for use with a remote
control.
Control Options
All of the Silent
Gliss 5100 curtain tracks come with a fixed open and
close switch which has to be wired into the mains
supply.
On
top of this there are the various remote control, timer
and computer controlled options.
Basic Motor (9010)
For remote control a transmitter
for either single (0915) or if you have more than one
track which you want to operate from one control an
eight channel (0916), is required and a receiver (0918)
Electronic Motor (9011)
For remote control a transmitter
for either single (0915) or if you have more than one
track which you want to operate from one control an
eight channel (0916), is required and a receiver (0918)
For a timer controlled track you
will also need (0900)
Intelligent Motor (9012)
For remote control a transmitter
for either single (0915) or if you have more than one
track which you want to operate from one control an
eight channel (0916), is required and a receiver (0918)
Timers and control systems are
part of the computer controlled Lon system.
