The Silent Gliss 3900 is suitable
for heavier domestic and commercial curtain weights,
however elegant design is not compromised by this tracks
capability. Nylon roller
gliders with the eye for the curtain hook thrown forward
minimise friction not only of the glider, but also of
any possible drag on the track from the curtain heading.
If a cord tensioner is used in
conjunction with this track then the curtains may be
either hand or cord drawn.
Lengths of up to 12m can be
supplied if an intermediate pulley is used. Note that
extending the length like this will reduce the carrying
capacity.
Like the Silent Gliss 3000,
cords are enclosed in channels which as well as ensuring
smooth operation allow the Silent Gliss 3900 to be
forward and reverse bent. If you are interested in a

bending Radius -200mm, for reverse bends this is reduced

The standard cord drop for the
Silent Gliss 3900 is 150cm, however because all Silent
Gliss products are Made to Measure if you require a
longer or shorter cord drop this can be specified. |

Maximum Curtain Weight Chart.
If an intermediate pulley is used
then the weights can be doubled.
If you have more bends in your track then you should
take these into account.
As a general visualisation, the
Silent Gliss 3900 is suitable for interlined curtains
with heavy fabric. (These are the sort of curtains that
I like to refer to as more like lightweight duvets) |

Bracket spacing, although this is
for the 3900, this is a good guide to the bracket
spacing for most curtain tracks, although individual
applications may vary. |

Fixing Options |
|
Fixing and removing the track from
the brackets is very easy, the illustration uses the
Universal wall
fix bracket, but the procedure is the same with all the
nylon brackets available. |

Accessories |

Various accessories
are available for this track many of which have been
illustrated in the examples above. In addition different
gliders, end stops and a joining bridge are also
available. |

The Silent Gliss 3900 comes with
roller gliders, which are a feature of the track and
help it to run smoothly and carry the heavier curtain
weights with ease. |

|
To facilitate the removal and
insertion of additional gliders a lot is made just
before the pulley housings and a twist eye end stop
inserted. |
 |
|
All of the Silent Gliss corded
tracks come with an overlap arm, the overlap arms
for the Silent Gliss 3900 is also suitable for the
1280 hand drawn tracks. |

|
There is a choice for corded
Silent Gliss tracks as with most curtain tracks of
either a cord tension pulley or cord weights. |
|
|
Other accessories for the
Silent Gliss 3900 and other Silent Gliss corded
curtain tracks include the adjustable pilot runner
and pilot runner. |

Accessories are available
separately, including the End Pulley Housings for
the Silent 3900. |

For heavier weight curtains
and for extending the track up to 12m in length an
intermediate pulley is required. |
