Silent Gliss 3000 Curtain Tracks

Strong and elegant, the most attractive corded curtain track available. Enclosed cord channels make this track ideal for bay windows and enclosed cord channels are essential if reverse bends are required.
Can be corded from both sides for longer tracks or where the curtain weight is particularly heavy.

As with most Silent Gliss curtain tracks the 3000 is available in 6m lengths without a join. It can however be extended to 12m if an intermediate pulley is used. Note however that a Silent Gliss 3000 system of more than 6m would have reduced load capabilities.

This track will be suitable for most curtain weights including heavy, and can be forward and reverse bent making it suitable for bay windows. If you are interested in a quote for a bay window please complete a Made to Measure Form

Bending Radii.

Standard bending Radius -200mm

The standard cord drop for the Silent Gliss 3000 is 150cm, however because all Silent Gliss products are Made to Measure if you require a longer or shorter cord drop this can be specified.

Maximum Curtain Weight Chart.

If an intermediate pulley is used then the weights can be doubled.
If you have more bends in your track then you should take these into account.

As a general visualisation, I have seen Linen curtains on a 4 bend bay with a drop of 275cm and this track used with an intermediate pulley. The track worked smoothly and easily.

Bracket spacing, although this is for the 3000, this is a good guide to the bracket spacing for most curtain tracks, although individual applications may vary.

Fixing Options

Fixing and removing the track from the brackets is very easy, the illustration uses the top fix bracket, but the procedure is the same with all the nylon brackets available.

Accessories

Various accessories are available for this track many of which have been illustrated in the examples above. In addition different gliders, end stops and a joining bridge are also available.

From left to right, the Standard Glider, the Retrofit Gliders which can be pushed into the track without the need to remove the track or end stops and the Rotating Gliders.

To facilitate the removal and insertion of additional gliders a lot is made just before the pulley housings and a twist eye end stop inserted.

All of the Silent Gliss corded tracks come with an overlap arm, the overlap arms for the Silent Gliss 3000 are also suitable for the 1080 hand drawn tracks.

There is a choice for corded Silent Gliss tracks as with most curtain tracks of either a cord tension pulley or cord weights.

Other accessories for the Silent Gliss 3000 and other Silent Gliss corded curtain tracks include the adjustable pilot runner and pilot runner (often used to join the two ends of the cord)
