Curtain tracks for bay windows

For uncorded curtain tracks that are suitable our recommendations are:

For a similarly capable metal track we recommend the Silent Gliss 1080 although this is a made to measure item and can't be bent by hand it provides a very smooth operating track for all curtain weights.

If you would like a budget plastic track then our recommendation would be the Integra Premier which comes in either off the shelf made up lengths, or in contract lengths without a join of up to 5m. The Integra Premier track is also suitable for reverse bends. The premier curtain track incorporates smooth roller gliders and is suitable for all curtain weights and can be either ceiling or face fixed.

For corded curtain tracks that are suitable our recommendations are:

The Integra Premier which can be reverse bent to accommodate return bends.

For made to measure track the Silent Gliss 3000 for medium weight curtains and the Silent Gliss 3900 for heavy weight curtains will provide trouble free use for a very long time.

Curtain poles for bay windows

As stated above the range of bay window poles has been increasing and there are four distinct types:

The Silent Gliss Metropoles which have a glider system incorporated in an aluminium pole, these poles can also be corded.

The Copes Bay Window Poles these use rings and the poles can be bent by hand along grooved sections and come in pre-packed lengths with all the fittings, being reasonable priced these have become popular and are especially suited to drapes and static displays.

The Swish Mix & Match 28mm Range use a special pass bracket and ring, and the bends have an elbow joint, these are great where curtains need to be drawn all the way round the bay, but with a requirement to have the poles follow precisely the lines of a right angle or similar.

The Cameron Fuller Bay Window Poles which similar to the Swish system use a special pass bracket and ring, but are also bend to size with smooth curves making the drawing of the curtains easier

The Regency Bay Window Poles are similar to the Copes Bay Pole system, however these poles are 35mm and the hinge joints are adjustable and the poles themselves are wooden.
