Bay Window Swept Bay

The images and descriptions below will help you to measure your Swept Bay Window accurately and to give us all the measurements we need to check your measurements and ensure that your Bay Window Pole or Track fits properly.

Swept Bay Illustration Arc of a Circle All tracks or poles for a swept bay window can only be bent to an arc of a circle. If you are ceiling fixing then you have the advantage of flexibility in so far as where the brackets are positioned, if you are face or wall fixing your track then we will work out the type and lengths of the brackets required, some of these may be adjustable.

To start the measuring process stick blue tack or something that will give you a fixed point to measure too evenly along the sweep.

Note that we will need all the same measurements that you would submit for a normal multi-angle bay window. Swept Bay Illustration AB measurements
Swept Bay Illustration Triangulation It is important to give us the AB, BC measurements around the bay and also the diagonals in order for us to triangulate these and build up our scale drawings of your bay, from which we can work out the best bending radius and the brackets required.
Give us a reasonable number of measurements. The more measurements you give us the more accurately we can draw out your bay window. Swept Bay Illustration Diagonals

In summary fill in the made to measure form just as you would for the multi-angle bay window, giving us the measurements as they are below.
